Gary Barker is an independent Realtor working as a solo broker. He works closely with selected clients. He lists special properties that need and deserve special attention. He also handles new construction sales for premier home builders. He was first licensed as a NC Real Estate Broker in 1977. In 1980 he obtained a Professional Engineering license. He has been licensed as a General Contractor and Auctioneer. He has been in the Real Estate, Construction and Land Development Business since beginning construction work at age sixteen in 1970. Put his more than 40 years of experience to work for you. Gary's family on his father's side has lived in the New Bern Area since before the War for Independence. His father retired to New Bern after a career in the US Navy in 1960. Gary graduated from New Bern High School in 1972 and from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in 1976 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
